Migration testing guidelines for FCM

On the scientific day conference “Food packaging: from research to production”, our laboratory director Dr  Panayiota Drillia presented a speech themed «Migration testing quidelines for FCM: Current techniques,challenges and developments».

The day conference took place on Sunday October 9th at the Metrpolitan-Expo exhibition centre among the works of the 15th annual packaging exhibition “Syskevasia16”, organized by

the Hellenic Association of Food technologists (HELAFT) and
the Association of the Greek Manufacturers of Packaging  Materials (AGMPM).

The speech program also included:

Stylianos Rafaelides, Director of Faculty of Food Technicians of the Alexandrio Technological Education institute of Thessaloniki (ATEITH),
“Production of naturally modified thermoplastic starch for use as a biodegradable packaging material”.
 
Antonios Kanavouras, Professor at the Agrcultural University of Athens,
“Industrial processes of packaging that have an effect on the quality of the product”.

Papadakis Spyridon, Professor at the Technological Education Institution (TEI) of Athens,
“Edible and biodegradable food packaging materials”.
 
Moussia Zoe, PhD Chemical Engineer, Hellenic Food Authority (EFET), 
“Packaging, a constant challenge.”
 
Aristomenis Binis, Chemist, Sales Manager at Sonoco c.p Hellas S.A.,
“IML Sonoco Consumer Packaging: Solutions of added value”.

Theodoros Paraskevopoulos, Chemical Engineer R&D Chantzopoulos S.A.,
“Flexible packaging: Innovative product design. Case studies”.
